DECA-Related Educational Travel and Competition
Opportunities |
| |
| Each year DECA members participate in a variety of
educational travel opportunities. These are at student/parent
expense. Some students are able to secure financial sponsorships to
help with the expenses. Those who are State DECA winners or
State DECA Officers receive some State travel money. It may
be possible in the future to have some fund-raising opportunities to
offset the cost. One great thing about DECA travel is that
students do get so much for their money in terms of learning about
themselves, other cities, marketing, career choices, culture,
business etiquette, competition and more. Many develop new
meaningful friendships and acquaintances with people they would otherwise
never meet. |
